Enviolo Encoder Ring Adjustment

If you are experiencing a cyclical ticking/scraping noise from the rear wheel its likely because the hub encoder ring is contacting the sensor.

There is a large encoder ring fastened to the outside diameter of the rear hub. The encoder ring has a split in it with hardware (see image below).

The issue on your bike is that the hardware is butted up against a spoke head and therefore being pushed out too far. With each revolution this part of the encoder ring is hitting the sensor on the hub interface.

You want to loosen the clamping hardware on the encoder ring and rotate it so it sits between the spokes, then tighten it down again. It will sit flush with the face of the hub.
