The main shaft of the Kind Shock A5RE needs a drop of lubrication every 25-30 hours of use, and after periods of storage as per the owner's manual. A squeaking sound is the main indicator that this service is needed. Any good lubricant will work (Tri Flow, 3 in 1 Oil, etc). Simply apply a drop or two as shown:
