If your lockout on your Suntour fork is not operating correctly, the most likely cause is that the lockout mechanism is loose, and the lockout is not engaging when turning the knob. Fixing this is very simple:
- pop the lockout lever off of the fork (slide a flat blade screwdriver underneath and pry upwards)
- remove the spindle underneath the cap. It will pull right out. If you have some needle-nose pliers, it will be easier, but you can use a screwdriver to the side
- with a 4mm hex wrench, turn the bolt clockwise to tighten
