I hear a clicking noise from the Compass drivetrain.

We recommend leaning the tricycle on its side and lightly pushing the throttle to rotate the drivetrain assembly so you can find the source of the noise. You want to ensure the following items are addressed:

-Front and Rear Chains are appropriately tight with 1/4 “ of play

-Inspect rear cog attachment hardware for tightness

-Ensure the rear chain is straight and both cogs are aligned

-Adjust 3 Speed Hub as necessary.

A slight ticking sound is normal for 3 speed hubs, but it doesnt hurt to go through the adjustment procedure.

If you are still having trouble, please contact us using the “Ask Us!” link provided just above and to the left to open a service ticket, and we can provide additional instructions as needed. You can also swing by your local Bicycle Shop to have them take a look and diagnose the source of the noise. This generally falls into the “bicycle stuff” category, so any shop can help us out.
