With the 8mm allen wrench, remove right crank arm bolt:
Then remove the crank arm using the puller tool:
Lift the chain off of the chainring (you may need to remove the chain from the cog at the rear wheel to accomplish this).
Remove the plastic chain ring cover by removing the 5 silver philips screws on the inboard side as seen below:
Remove the chain ring by taking out the 5 4mm cap head bolts. Circled in yellow below.
Installation is the reverse of assembly. Install the new ring, followed by the chainguard, then mount the chain.
