An alternative to purchasing is to have your current battery refurbished by a battery maker. They can replace the battery cells entirely, essentially making your battery new. This service is typically less than buying a replacement battery and they can usually upgrade your battery to get more range on a single charge. They will also ensure that the old cells are recycled properly.
Below are a number of battery vendors that refurbish batteries. We have not worked with all of them directly and have no preference on who you use. Any of them should be able to provide you with a quality battery.
